PantryPilot Privacy Policy

PantryPilot is designed to help users track household food inventory, reduce waste, and plan lower-spend meals.
Information PantryPilot may access
- Photos the user chooses to import, including pantry shelf images and grocery receipts
- Camera access for taking pantry photos or scanning barcodes
- Inventory information entered by the user
How information is used
- To help users review and save inventory items
- To generate meal-planning suggestions based on current pantry contents
- To support barcode and receipt import flows
Storage
In the current build, PantryPilot primarily stores data locally on the device. Future versions may add optional cloud sync or remote analysis services.
Photo and receipt analysis
PantryPilot may use on-device heuristics or an optional remote analysis endpoint, depending on app configuration. Users should review suggested items before saving them.
Third parties
PantryPilot does not describe all possible third-party services in this draft policy. If remote analysis or hosted sync features are enabled in production, this policy should be updated to reflect those integrations accurately.
